NADRA Introduces 'e-Payment System'
A new 'e-payment system' has been introduced by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) which can potentially replace ATMs of banks. According to the news website 'ProPakistani', this digital payment system of NADRA will be capable of meeting all types of digital payment and cash needs.
This system is being introduced by NADRA in partnership with Pakistan's largest and licensed payment gateway system 'OneLink'. The system will work through NADRA's pre-existing 'e-facility franchise'. Currently, there are more than 17,000 NADRA e-facility outlets across the country which will be converted into ATMs. However, these ATMs will be equipped with all kinds of digital payment features
